As someone who doesn’t love wearing a red lip all that often, I was surprised to find a few in my collection. Today I’m running through their formulas, showing comparison swatches, and sharing my favourite ways to rock a red lip (however rare that is!)
In my previous blog post, I said I was already itching to try more of Stila’s Glitter and Glow eye shadows. So today’s post is going to be a short review on Sunset Cove, one of the three original duochromes in the range (that only just landed in Australia last month!)
Funny story, I bought this palette a few months ago, and returned it even before trying it out. I talked myself out of it, and said I didn’t need it for the $52 price tag. Needless to say, I’m glad I gave it a second chance!
I picked up this deluxe mini of Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Lovecraft as a Sephora 100 point perk offer. Kat’s liquid lipsticks are my favourite formula when it comes to application and wear time. You can read my thoughts on the formulation in my first Everlasting Liquid Lipstick review.
My glitter eyeshadow game has totally changed for the better thanks to the Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadows, and I’m already itching to purchase more!
I didn’t even need to swatch this in person when it released in stores. As the proud owner of last year’s holiday palette (Volume 2), I knew I had to pick up this year’s Hourglass Ambient Lighting palette. Volume 3 is the same as it’s predecessors – it’s got luxurious packaging and powders to match, and of course its steep price tag of $117 AUD ($80 USD).
I discovered this little bottle of skin-loving goodness when at the Brisbane Mecca Maxima Grand (re)Opening. I’ve used almost a third of the bottle in just over a month, so that’s a good indication of how this review is going to go!
Don’t think I’ve used up so much of a skincare product so fast!
Mario Badescu is a cruelty-free skincare brand that has pricing close to drugstore products, but performs as well, if not better than high end items! I selected the smaller sized bottle (118mL) and paid only $9 AUD, which is really cheap for what you get. They also have a 236mL size for $17, which I’ll be purchasing next time.
The most important ‘must-have’: cruelty free status
It smells of rosewater and feels beautiful against the skin. I love using this as an all-over mist throughout the day, and I definitely feel like it boost my skin’s appearance. I’ve also noticed less breakouts while using this product.
If you love good, easy, cruelty-free skincare, I highly recommend trying this. It can be used to set makeup, soothe or give skin a quick boost. You can spray it on your face, hair or body, making it the perfect all-rounder skincare product.
