Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina eyeshadow palette review

Each palette I purchase from Anastasia Beverly Hills seems to be an improvement on the last one (not that any of them have been bad!) I thought Soft Glam would be the last eyeshadow palette I bought from Anastasia this year, and then they came out with Norvina. Needless to say, I purchased the Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina palette the day it launched on the Sephora Australia site! Here are my thoughts on this pretty purple-toned palette.

Anastasia Beverly Hills lip gloss in Parfait

This is the last lip gloss to join my stash for a while, and the sixth from Anastasia Beverly Hills. Like Moon Jelly and Toffee, I purchased Parfait during the Sephora 50% off sales.

Anastasia Beverly Hills lip gloss in Toffee

Toffee is my fifth Anastasia Beverly Hills lip gloss, thanks to the Sephora 50% off sale. This is one of the more neutral shades in the collection, and would suit most skin tones – including us fair girls!

Anastasia Beverly Hills lip gloss: Moon Jelly

Just as I had suspected, after hearing the Anastasia Beverly Hills glosses would no longer be sold in Sephora Australia stores, a bunch of shades where part of the Sephora 50% off mid year sales. As these lip glosses have my favourite formula, adding a few more shades to my collection at half price was too good to pass up. Here are my thoughts on the first shade, Moon Jelly. You can also read my review of the formula here.

Moon Jelly is an iridescent, semi-opaque shade with pink, blue and purple shimmer reflects. Like the other high-shine glosses I own from the range, the shimmer/glitter particles don’t have any grit to them.

Moon Jelly isn’t as pigmented as the other shades I own, however this is to do with its colour, rather than a difference in formulation. You wouldn’t really want an opaque white shimmer lip gloss anyway (or at least I wouldn’t)!

While I enjoy wearing the shade on its own, I feel this would look even better as a lip topper, and is worn best when paired with any cool-toned lipstick, particularly pinks.

What do you think of this shade? Do you prefer coloured lip glosses that can be worn on their own, or lip topper shades such as Moon Jelly? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Aurora Glow Kit Review

When the Moonchild Glow Kit from Anastasia Beverly Hills went on sale at Sephora, I felt like I needed to grab the sister palette to complete my collection (which was also on sale).

Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam eyeshadow palette review

For someone who didn’t drool over the Modern Renaissance as much as every other beauty blogger out there, it may come as a surprise that I picked up the Soft Glam palette while in Sephora the other week.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild Glow Kit Review

I’ve had my eyes on this highlighting palette for months now (I know, very late to the party), but the $72 AUD price tag stopped me from purchasing it sooner. However, when Sephora had their 50% off sale and this item was included in the line up, all bets were off. I purchased the Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild Glow Kit for $36, and couldn’t be happier with the variety of pastel colours included in the palette!
