I picked up the Too Faced Passport to Bronze Set a little while ago, and after having a play around with the different bronzers included in the set, I thought I’d share my thoughts on this cute travel-sized collection.
The compacts in this set are made of cheap plastic, and are very light weight. Inside you get 2.5 grams of product, and no mirror. The pan size is considerably bigger than a single eyeshadow pan, or about the size of a fifty cent Australian coin.
Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil
I own the full size of this bronzer, and it’s my all time favourite/most used bronzer. I recommend this for those with fair or light skin, as it isn’t very dark, and can be built up on the skin.
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil
This is described as being a medium/deep matte bronzer, and while I was concerned it would be too dark for my skintone, I found it worked well with a light hand. I’ll use this in summer since it is a little deeper than what I’d usually go for.
Too Faced Sun Bunny
This bronzer reminds of Sweet Tea from Too Faced with it’s half-half design. This bronzer is shimmery, and can come across a little orange-y if built up too much. I still prefer my Sweet Tea bronzer over this one, but it’s a great size for travelling.
The set retails for $35 AUD on the Catch website, and you receive three compacts with 2.5 grams of bronzer in each, as well as a mini flatbuki brush. A Too Faced bronzer costs $44 AUD, and contains 10 grams of product. When factoring the cost of the bronzers alone, you are paying $4.60 per gram in the set, and $4.40 per gram when buying a full sized bronzer. So while you are paying slightly more for the bronzers in a set, you are getting three different types, as well as a bonus brush.
With all of the above being considered, I think this is a great set to pick up if you want to try a few different bronzers from Too Faced, and the quality is the same as their full sized bronzers.
