I don’t mind spending 20 minutes blending eyeshadows and creating semi-sophisticated colour gradients – but if I’m honest, most work days I’m too lazy and pressed for time to do that. So I’ve complied a list of my favourite single use eyeshadows that allow me to wipe, lightly blend and I’m good-to-go.
Colourpop Super Shock Shadows
A shimmery neural-toned shadow from Colourpop’s Super Shock line such as Birthday Cake or Sequin is a simple way to glam up your eyelids with minimal effort – just watch out for a little bit of fall out, and be sure to use a clean finger to blend out the edges!
Stila Shimmer and Glow
While I wouldn’t use the Glitter and Flows on their own, the Shimmers from Stila’s liquid eyeshadow range have the perfect amount of pigmentation. I suggest using a soft shade like Boheme to achieve a subtle wash of colour and shimmer.
Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
Any bronzer will do really, just make sure it’s safe to use around the eye area! Just take a fluffy blending brush and work it into the outer crease, then use a light hand to sweep what’s left on the brush all over the lid. Go back in and deepen the crease if desired, and this will give you a very natural, defined eye look.
