Colourpop Glass Bull eyeshadow review

Earlier this month I added another Colourpop duochrome single eyeshadow to my collection. Today I’m reviewing Glass Bull from their Pressed Shadow range.

Colourpop describes it as being a “duochrome lavender icy-blue”, but I disagree with this description. To me, Glass Bull is a metallic purple-brown duochrome shadow with a unique teal shift. It looks almost like a dirty dark lavendar shade in different lighting, and was very difficult to photograph to show it’s true colouring.

The consistency reminds me of a foiled eyeshadow formula, without having a ‘wet’ texture. It’s tricky to describe, but I can safely say it’s the most unique eyeshadow shade I own. It swatches nicely and has good pigmentation, however I did experience some fall out with the shadow.

All of Colourpop individual pressed eyeshadows cost $4 USD each, but I got this for $2.80 during one of their sales. Each pan contains 1.5 grams of product, which I find pretty generous when factoring in the lower price point compared to other brands.

What do you think of Colourpop’s duochrome range? I’d love to hear your thoughts below!
