In my previous blog post, I said I was already itching to try more of Stila’s Glitter and Glow eye shadows. So today’s post is going to be a short review on Sunset Cove, one of the three original duochromes in the range (that only just landed in Australia last month!)
Sunset Cove is a soft baby pink shade with a gold shift. The glitters almost have a green-gold look to them, depending on how the light catches them.
I’d describe this shade as being more “everyday friendly” than Sea Siren, due to the colour shift combination, and the fact it’s a little less pigmented. I found I had to build this one up a bit more to get the true light pink base, but once applied, it stayed on just as long with minimal creasing and glitter fallout.
As I’ve said before, these shadows are great for beginners experimenting with glitter, and Sunset Cove is the most forgiving of the three original duochromes.
If you are wanting to try a few out, Stila currently has two releases for Holiday 2017. I think they make for great gifts, or you can break up one of the sets to share with friends!
Would you buy these in a mini set, or do you prefer purchasing one or two full-sized items?
