Kat Von D Lovecraft Review

I picked up this deluxe mini of Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in the shade Lovecraft as a Sephora 100 point perk offer. Kat’s liquid lipsticks are my favourite formula when it comes to application and wear time. You can read my thoughts on the formulation in my first Everlasting Liquid Lipstick review.

The packaging is identical to the ones found in other holiday sets, like last year’s Everlasting Mini Liquid Lipstick Set. The mini deluxe size contains 3mL of product, while the full size contain  about 6.5mL and retails for $30 AUD.

This is my fourth pinky-nude-mauve shade from Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipstick range, and every time I feel like I’ve found my new favourite. First it was Lovestruck, than it was Mother, and now it’s Lovecraft. Funnily enough, if you combined Lolita, Lovestuck and Mother, I feel like you’d get something similar in colour to Lovecraft.

Lovecraft is described as a mauve pink nude by Kat Von D Beauty, and has a cool undertone. It’s darker than Lovesick, and more muted than Mother. It’s very wearable, and one to add to any pinky-nude lipstick lover’s collection!

The closest dupe I have in my collection is Backtalk from Urban Decay’s Vice Lipstick line, which you can read my review of here. Lovecraft is deeper in tone, but shares a similar formula (Backtalk is a comfort matte lipstick).

What’s your favourite pinky-nude lip product? Let me know in the comments below!
